 Closing Rings
We manufacture all shapes and sizes of industrial drum locking
rings and handles for UN (liquids and solids) and non-UN drums.
Locking rings can be manufactured in iron-zinc, galvanised or
stainless steel and can also be powder-coated. We have the
capability to roll rings from 75mm to over 1 meter in diameter,
in metal from 0.4mm to 2.5mm thick. We also offer a wide range
of different section profiles, and are happy to develop new
shapes with our customers.We can offer closing devices welded or
riveted onto the closing ring as well as Heavy and Light Duty –
Quick Release External Lever Toggle, Internal Levers, Nut & Bolt
and Latch closure devices. We do over a 50 different
profiles/shapes and do all design and manufacture of tooling for
new profiles in-house. Radiussed cuts can also be put in the
ends of the ring to ensure no sharp-edges as well as deburrers
to minimise sharp edges on the closing rings. In addition,
overlaps for the ring-ends may be designed to maximise ring
performance.
